Description
The Euroken cooker is a freestanding kitchen appliance built mostly from stainless steel that uses gas both for the hob (burners on top) and for the oven. It is designed to offer reliable, consistent cooking performance in homes where electricity supply may be unstable or when users prefer cooking fully with gas.
Key Features & Components
| Component | Details |
|---|---|
| Body / Exterior | Stainless steel body with enamel coatings on pan supports, burner caps, and sometimes on the oven interior to resist rust and make cleaning easier. The top often includes a tempered or strong glass lid that covers the burners when not in use. |
| Hob (Burners) | Typically 4 gas burners. Burners may have aluminium or BX‑style bases. Pan supports are robust, often enamel coated. Ignition is usually either auto‑ignition / pulse ignition (i.e., electric spark) or manual. Flame control knobs allow adjustment of flame intensity. |
| Oven | Fully gas oven: both top and bottom heating by gas. Some models include a grill compartment or grill function. Interior lighting may be included. Oven door often double‑glass for better insulation and visibility. Capacity is usually in the range of 60‑75 litres (for 50×55cm models) but varies with model. |
| Grill / Rotisserie | Some models include a grill tray, wire grid; others may have a rotisserie option (chicken spit) depending on variant. |
| Timer / Controls | Mechanical timer in many models. Heat controls are via knobs. Some include oven temperature control (gas regulators, users can adjust for bake / roast). |
| Safety & Convenience | Features such as gas safety detectors or flame failure devices may be present. Tempered glass lid adds safety and allows visibility. Enamel racks/pans are easier to clean. Sometimes insulation around the oven helps maintain heat and reduces cooking time. |
| Size / Dimensions / Weight | Typical size is ~ 50 × 55 cm width/depth, height around ~ 84‑85 cm. Weight often in the region of 20‑25 kg for smaller 50×55 models. Larger or heavier duty models more. |
| Extras / What’s in the box | Usually comes with an oven tray and wire grid, sometimes a rotisserie fork, user manual, warranty card. Adjustable feet/legs for stability in the uneven kitchen floors. |
